Free 30-day trial. No card.
See which of your referring dentists stopped. Free, from one PDF.
Send us the referral report you already run. We load it into an account for your practice, send back a one-page report on your own list, and sit down with you for fifteen minutes to walk through it. Then the whole system is yours for thirty days. No card, no setup, no obligation, and nothing to un-install if you stop.
Most practices send the file in under five minutes. The path is Reports → Referrals → Referral Annual Totals.
How the trial works
Send one PDF.
Reports → Referrals → Referral Annual Totals in PBS Endo, current year, saved as a PDF, emailed to David@referralens.com. On something other than PBS Endo? Send whatever report lists your referring dentists and what they sent you, and tell us what software you run. We will tell you within a day whether we can read it, and if we cannot yet, we will build it during your trial rather than after it.
Get your list.
Within two business days: a one-page report with every referring dentist ranked by what changed, the ones who went quiet, the one-off cases separated out, and the five worth calling first. Your login arrives at the same time, with the report already loaded.
Use it for thirty days.
The touch sheet, follow-ups, the offices address book and the thank-you desk are all yours, for everyone in the practice. On day thirty it is $149 a month by invoice, or it stops. Your choice, and no card either way.
What we need, and what we do with it.
What we need from you
- One referral report, current year, as a PDF. If you can run two years, send two — the comparison is the whole point and we will build the second year for you either way.
- The name of the practice and one email address for the login.
- The name of your practice software, if it is not PBS Endo.
That is the entire list. No integration, no credentials, nothing installed on your server, and nobody from us in your practice software.
What we do not need
- A credit card. There is no card field anywhere on this site.
- Patient information. The report we read lists referring dentists, case counts and dollar totals. It contains no patient names and no clinical information, and neither does ReferraLens. If a file with patient information arrives by mistake, tell us and we delete it.
- A contract. Monthly is month to month.
- A decision on day one.
What happens to your report
It contains referring dentist names and dollar totals, nothing about patients. We use it for one thing: producing your report. It is not shared, sold, benchmarked or used in marketing, and if you decide not to continue we delete it within 30 days. That promise is written down and signed: Report Confidentiality Commitment.
If you do not continue, your file and everything we built from it are deleted within thirty days, or the same day if you ask.
Who reads your report
The software does the reading. It has one job and it does it the same way every month: line this year up against last year, name by name, put the ones that moved on top, and set the single-case names aside so they do not bury the relationships that matter.
The fifteen years are in what it decided was worth showing you. David Stein has worked in an endodontic practice since it opened in 2006 — his wife's — running referral tracking and referral thank-yous by hand: the spreadsheet, the headcounts, the December letters, the office that moved and nobody told them. Every rule in the report came out of that job.
Then a person walks it with you. When your first report is ready we book fifteen minutes: you, your report on the screen, and David. He will show you the five names worth calling, why each one is on the list, and what he would do about each. No slide deck, and no second call with a salesperson, because there is not one. If nothing on it is worth acting on, say so and we delete your file.
Nothing happens on day thirty unless you say so.
There is no card on file, so nothing renews and nothing charges. Near the end of the trial you get one email asking which way you want to go. Continue and we invoice you from QuickBooks — $149 a month or $1,490 for the year, per location. Stop and the account closes and your data is deleted within thirty days. Do nothing and it stops; we will not chase you.
Trial questions
- Do we have to use PBS Endo?
- No. Send whatever report your software produces that lists referring dentists and what they sent you — TDO, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve, Denticon, CareStack, or something we have not seen yet. We will tell you within a day whether we can read it, and if we cannot yet, we build it during your trial rather than after it. Every format we support started with one practice asking.
- What if our data is messy?
- It will be, and that is normal. The same dentist spelled three ways, an office that moved, names that are really one group practice. The first report shows you what we found and how we grouped it, and the walkthrough is partly about fixing that together. You do not have to clean anything up before you send it.
- Who in the practice should do this?
- Whoever runs the reports — usually the office manager. The doctor does not need to be on the walkthrough, though most want to be on the second one, once there is a list of names in front of them.
Within two business days. If your report arrives on a Friday, expect it Tuesday.
